Eye of God Nebula

Grace, Hope & Peace, Friend;

When Elisha’s servant saw the city was surrounded by an army of horses and chariots who had come to capture Elisha, he said, “This is hopeless, my master! What are we to do?” Elisha responded, “Do not be afraid, for those who are with us are greater than those who are with them.” (2 Kings 6:11-16)

Then Elisha prayed and said, “Lord, please, open his eyes so that he may see.” And the Lord opened the servant’s eyes, and he saw; and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

2 Kings 6:17

When loved ones feel helpless, – surrounded by calamity – pray, like Elisha that God open their eyes to see that He, who is ‘greater’ than everything else, is in control. Or when we are at the end of our rope, and all we see is adversity and tribulation. Jesus, God’s message to humanity – says, “In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)

When Mary came to the tomb and found it open and Jesus’ body missing, she was upset. Thinking the gardener was standing there, she said, “Sir, if you have carried Him away, tell me where you put Him, and I will take Him away.” (John 20:11-15)

Jesus said to her, “Mary!” She turned and said to Him in Hebrew, “Rabboni!” (which means, Teacher).

John 20:16

Imagine the flood of emotions that filled her when Jesus simply said her name! All the pain, fear and suffering of the last three days drained away. Jesus – greater than all the rest – was right there with her!

He is right here with each one of us! Ask Him to open your eyes!

Jesus is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

Psalm 119:105 (Adapted)

Hashem, my ner – Lord, my lamp – open my eyes to see that You are in control of EVERY situation.

He guarded him as the apple of His eye.

Deuteronomy 32:10e
