When Thomas said to Jesus, “Lord, we do not know where You are going; how do we know the way?“
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Me.”
John 14:6
Later, as He stood falsely accused before Pilate, Jesus said, “For this purpose I have been born, and for this I have come into the world: to testify to the truth.” And Pilate asked, “What is truth?” (John 18:37-38)
Jesus IS the Truth, and He became human (John 1:14) for the express purpose of declaring the Truth to humanity.
But, “What is truth?“
God loves His creation, and He provided the way for us to be reunited with Him forever. (John 3:16)
And Jesus said His Spirit will guide us into all the truth. (John 16:13) In spite of all the confusion and hysteria Satan throws into the picture, the Spirit reminds us of God’s loving care. Who do we listen to?
Everyone who is of the truth listens to My voice.
John 18:37g
Ruach HaEmes – Spirit of Truth – remind me again of God’s love for ME.
It is a trustworthy statement, deserving full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, among whom I am foremost.
