Word of Encouragement – 20th May 2024

Well at Iloni, Nigeria – Mar 2013

Grace, Hope & Peace, Friend;

David wrote, “Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul; and all that is [deepest] within me, bless His holy name!and forget not [one of] all His benefits;” (Psalm 103:1-2 AMPC) Then he lists some of the benefits God gives us.

(He) pardons all our guilt, and heals all our diseases;
(He) redeems our life from the pit, and crowns us with favor and compassion;
(He) satisfies our years with good things,
(He) performs righteous deeds and judgments for all who are oppressed.
(And He) let us know what He does.

Psalm 103:3-7 (Personalized)

WE are the ones who stray from His will – WE disobey His direction, but David continues,

The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in mercy. He does not hold a grudge. (See 1 Corinthians 13:5) and He has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor rewarded us according to our guilty deeds.

Psalm 103:8-10

Read the rest of the Psalm for more about how God loves humanity and join with David, from the depths of your soul,

Bless the Lord, all His works in all places of His dominion; bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul!

Psalm 103:22 (AMPC)

Elohim Kedoshim – Holy God – Praise to You from the deepest parts of my being.

Praise to the Lord, the Almighty, the King of creation!
O my soul, praise Him, for He is thy health and salvation! All ye who hear,
Now to His temple draw near; Sing now in glad adoration!
